My sister saw a David Susskind show where one of the segments was about chocolate. He had on several people from the chocolate industry discussing the various kinds and what they thought was best. One of the people said that the best American chocolate is made by a company in Massachusetts called Harbor Sweets. Does anyone on the net know where this company is (address, phone number, etc.)? Can anyone make any recommendations about them and their products? I live just west of Chicago and would be willing to order some from Massachusetts if it's worth it. Thanks. A Chocolate Lover, Scott Pector (P.S. I, with my peasant tastes, like the following: Fannie May's buttercreams and mays, Ghirardelli's milk chocolate and semi-sweet chocolate. Fannie May's is a chain in Chicagoland and Ghirardelli's is in San Francisco at Ghirardelli Square near the Wharf. Don't get Ghirardelli chocolate bars or chunks that are prewrapped or packaged in cellophane or candy wrappers. They are available in Wisconsin (of all places) and California, and when they come this way, they taste sort of dried out, not rich. Get Ghirardelli's chocolate only in fresh, unwrapped chunks in San Francisco at Ghirardelli Square.)
