[comp.sys.amiga] Upgrade Process For 2.0 ROMs

Is there any current information on when and how we A3000 owners will get
the upgrade to the 2.0 ROMs? I asked quite a while ago and it seems the
response was that it wasn't totally decided just yet. Things like will
they be sent directly to registered owners, or will they go to dealers
with a notice to registered owners, or some other mechanism? Also, will
there be a cost associated with that? It would also seem that a reformat
of the HD would be in order to remove the current mechanism that should not
be needed any longer, right?
While I'm on the subject, I just saw a notice about AmigaVision 1.58. This
begs the question of will there be an easy/cheap/free way for early buyers
to get the latest version? I only ask because it appears that there are
changes being made quite frequently without the NORMAL upgrade notices, etc.
This seems to say, to me at least, that it isn't quite finished but we
released it anyway, and we'll take care of our faithful, etc., etc., etc.
Anyway, just thought I'd bring it up before the Net is overtaken with A4000
rumors, etc. Thanks in advance for any/all info. Cheers, Dave
