Hello,
If AmigaVision is shipping, I am still waiting. I purchased my Amiga 3000
back in July (middle) and I am STILL waiting. I got the letter about it
being delayed, but nothing else. Because a few people have gotten their
copies, does that mean they really ARE shipping? It's actually quite
sad when you buy a system and are promised a piece of software that IS
available in the stores, then never receive that software. I thought we, as
educational buyers, would have first crack at AmigaVision. Boy was I wrong.
Does it really take from the middle of July to the end of September
(2.5 months) to produce sufficient enough copies for the masses? Or were there
really bugs? How does Commodore choose who gets copies of AmigaVision first,
second and third? Or is it just some arbitrary thing (like the person on the
top of the pile)? I think what it comes down to is that Commdore is more
interested in selling their copies to distributors than fulfilling the
certificate demand (heck, we can wait, can't we?). From a business standpoint
money talks.
BTW, for those of you who have gotten your copies, how did it come? UPS
or USMAIL?
