My son operates a large BBS on his amiga computer. He is still in high school and has worked very hard to earn the money to purchase his system. He has about 200 MB of disk devoted to the BBS and he spends much too much time maintaining his BBS. He uses the PARAGON system. In the last week some demented person has invaded his BBS with operator privileges and systematically vandalized his disk. This person says he is from some group called RCMP or PKT (paragon kill team). Needless to say my son is besides himself with frustration. Is anyone out there familiar or expert with this issue who could give him some definitive advice about protecting his property. Please send me private mail to me. If it would be easier for you, we would be glad to telephone you instead of exchanging mail messages. Thank you very much for your time. Regards, Clem Taylor

Our Users Group has been running the Paragon BBS system for some time. While a few users have tried to cause trouble, none have succeded. I would be interested in hearing just HOW someone could get on and gain Sysop access. To do any real damage would require TWO seperate passwords! Sounds to me like he has something set up wrong! - Doug - Doug_B_Erdely@Cup.Portal.Com
