I have been trying to get uucp to talk to a 386 running Interactive sysV. The command I have been using is: uucico -x8 -r1 -ssystem It does ok until I get to WritePacket: F.K = 9 F.C = 0.7.7 ReadPacket RP Hdr i = 6 F.K = 9 F.C = 0.7.7 Got Data, checking: 2A6B AA6B COMPLETE FAILURE RxRetry = 8 It looks like I am writting ^P^Ik*?w and reading back the same thing. 2A = * and 6B = k so I don't know why I would want to receive AA6B. I thought that it might have something to do with parity but it seems to have no effect. It looks like to me the check is wrong. Please send me mail because I have a hard time keeping up with this newsgroup. Any help would greatly be appreciated. It would be nice to have some documentation on F.K and F.C really mean. -- Jerry Williams @ Evans & Sutherland 560 Arapeen Drive, SLC, Utah 84108 UUCP Addresses: {ihnp4,ucbvax,allegra,decvax}!decwrl!esunix!jwilliam ihnp4!utah-cs!esunix!jwilliam usna!esunix!jwilliam esunix!jwilliam@cs.utah.edu (Internet)
