Any of you Amigan's out there looking for some good prices for ZIPS, check out WAVE ELECTRONICS, INC...1-800-433-3570 I placed my order for RAM on Monday, and got it today (Wed.). While RAM prices change just like gold, I got 2MB of Toshiba 256k x 4 static column, 80ns ZIPs for $10.95 a chip, or, 87.60 per MB (your mileage may vary). The total cost (including second-day-air UPS) was $184.25. Local RAM prices START at roughly $250/MB!!! And that's for paged mode. Be careful of UPS though...this guy was really trying to jerk me around. He came back about 3 hours after delivery saying I only gave him $84.25 (I wonder what you have to do to get the job...can't be much). Also, how many of you have tried installing ZIPs? Pretty scary, eh?
