A hardware merchant I know sent me a reply for you..... here it is - > I'm going to buy an amiga 2000 and a NEC 3D monitor Monday...So I guess > a cable to connect them will be in order...Anybody care to offer a diagram, > advice, anything else of use...many thanks. > -Mike Graham Just recently I hooked up the NEC 3D to the video port and also to the Flicker Fixer. The cable is fairly simple to make, at the moment I only have the PinOuts for the NEC 3D with me but I'm sure you can match these up with the PinOuts for the Video port which are supplied in the Manual with the computer. For the adaptor cable you will need a High Density 15 pin male and 23 pin male connectors. NEC 3D - pin 1 - red video 2 - green video 3 - blue video 4 - ground 5 - ground 6 - red ground 7 - green ground 8 - blue ground 9 - not connected 10 - ground 11 - ground 12 - not connected 13 - h sync 14 - v sync 15 - not connected Effectively there are only 6 wires needed to make the connection because the ground from the monitor can all be soldered together, the respective pins for the amiga are straight out of the manual. This is much cheaper than purchasing the cable from a dealer. As for comments on the monitor, it's perfect! much better than the 1950. Matthew.
