It seems I stepped on a few toes with my recent post about the show on Nova detailing how an ASTRONOMER hunted down a computer spy in Hanover. To all those offended by my mistake at saying astrologer, I apologize, but only as a courtesy. I walked in on the beginning of the show and I forgot what they said his profession was. I didn't think folks would make such a big deal of that other than to correct me if I'm was wrong, which I was. It was only part of the message because he didn't START as a computer hacker, but some other profession. It didn't matter to the gist of the story, except to a few folks, that he was an astronomer vice an astrologer. Why are folks on the net becoming so sensitive? Sheesh! Anyway, I enjoyed the piece and thought others might have too. Looks like you can't just make passing comments on comp.sys.amiga anymore without receiving some serious flames. Seems like the fun is going fast. Too bad folks have to take things so serious and try to read in some kind of a slur (or whatever) where there are none intended. Lighten up folks, its not worth a heart attack or something, will ya????? Cheers, Dave CMSgt David K Detert, USAF MILNet: detert@lognet2.af.mil I'm In The Air Force, but if you say Army or Navy by mistake, I won't break your arms. H*LL, I won't even correct you.
