[comp.sys.amiga] Amiga crew

gilgalad@caen.engin.umich.edu (Ralph Seguin) (10/03/90)

Has anybody noticed that the Commodore/Amiga crew has been spending
a lot of time on the net recently? And I thought that Commodore kept
them locked up... Does this imply that they have more time on their
hands suddenly ==> finished products ready to ship (new machines,
new software)? Any comments Amiga crew?

			Thanks, Ralph

They do, but they never turn off the phone lines....

I can't answer for anyone else. For me, personally, it means that I have been
doing gate array simulations lately. Each simulation takes a minute or two,
best case, to run. That's not enough time to do much in the way of useful
work, but certainly enough time to reply to a message or two inbetween
simulator runs.

Dave's doing gate array simulation.. Lets see what that could be...

-- Improved or CBM SCSI chip
-- 8 bit CHIP set
-- 16 bit sound chip
-- A PLD processor so we can download microcode to emulate ANYONE :-)

I'm glad to see CBM employees on the hardware side are keeping themselves
gainfully employed, now what about the MARKETING side

If this is made to work in an A2000, will I be able to emulate a 3000?
