Will somebody knowledgable kindly explain the following? Dpaint III refuses to work on my A3000/25, yet it works on a friend's A3000/16. Is there some version that refuses to work? Deluxe Music will work when loaded off of a floppy. If I make a DISKCOPY onto another floppy, it will load off that as well. If I copy it (including all resource files) onto my hard drive, it won't work at all. Sonix works under 1.3 -- if I boot it from its original floppy only. It used to run fine from the hard drive; now it won't. All I can imagine is that there's some bug in the FastFileSystem. If so, I hope this is fixed before the OS goes to ROM. Any ideas/solutions, anyone? mgs

I created a directory called DeluxePaintIII and copied all three disk via "copy clone dates all df0: Work:DeluxePaintIII" with CLI and have been able to double click start since then from the icon under both 1.3 & 2.0 with no problems. If there were any "c" or "lib" directories (if so, I forgot), I deleted them. Fonts, if any got moved to SYS:fonts. > Deluxe Music will work when loaded off of a floppy. I created a directory called DeluxeMusic and copied all three disk via "copy clone dates all df0: Work:DeluxeMusic" with CLI. I then proceeded to move any fonts over to SYS:fonts that were not already there. I deleted everything under "c" and "lib" since those are under SYS: already, with the exception of the title picture/logo. I assigned DeluxeMusic: to Work:DeluxeMusic and added DeluxeMusic: to PATH. I have been able to double click start since then from the icon under both 1.3 & 2.0 with few problems. Notablely, DMCS doesn't know about my hard disk, and so I can only access files under DeluxeMusic: or DF0:. Under 2.0 the window borders are light blue and light grey making the gadgets hard to see.
