Someone from Commodore PLEASE answer this via E-Mail: If someone gets a motherboard replacement for his A3000 under warranty, is the local service tech. authorized to make *ANY* changes at all to the motherboard as it comes from the factory? My A3000's fine, but my partner's got fried about a month ago, his replacement motherboard just now came in, and the service tech. jacked with some jumpers on the motherboard. He said,"it didn't look the same as our demo." The demo A3000 has a rev6.x (don't know exact number), while my partner's was a rev7.1...now his video from the 31.5kHz port is FRIED, even when the Amber is turned off. The signal's fine from the 15.75kHz port. He doesn't want to take it back to the local store, so we're planning a little road-trip to the next closest service station (roughly 150m away)...
