[comp.sys.amiga] 4 meg Atari 1040ST

pr0z+@andrew.cmu.edu (Phyllis Reuther) (10/08/90)

For sale:

4 meg, 1040 st with color monitor.
megamax C, prospero fortran 77, some pascal, some regular software (vp
planner, various word processors, drawing packages), some PD stuff, and
some stuff on fractals that I wrote myself for a fortran class.
an okidata color printer (thermal but cute, and the color is okay as
long as you don't want to hang the print at the National Gallery)
oh yeah -- and an atari developers kit which is apparently not saleable,
but maybe I could toss it in free with purchase of the other stuff and
not get in too much trouble. Suffice to say, I won't need it without the
machine.

I bought the 1040 when they first came out, but have been at school
using the university's hardware since then. Now I'm in grad school and
for the next n years, have more computes available then I'll ever use.
Regardless, the Atari is not compatible with the school stuff so I can't
use both interchangably and I can't afford the line cost to use it as a
terminal.

So, now I'm an indigent grad student and my machine sits, alone, unused,
and unloved in my brother's basement. Due to time elapsed and a focus on
other machines, I'm not even sure what its worth. I'm asking $2000 or
best offer for the whole deal. Send offers or discussion of worth, if
you wish.

Thanx.
