University of Michigan's Engineering College, Apollo, and Apple have announced that they will work closely, etc. The manufacturers have provided very favorable (as they say) pricing on Apollos and Lisas to the Engineering College. Several million $ worth of equipment is involved. This may actually show up in a newspaper somewhere near you. Who knows. If anyone wants to hear more, let me know. At any rate, UMich is making a big commitment to micros and personal work stations for students, faculty, and research. I'm waiting for my Apollo now! Carnegie-Mellon, MIT, and all you "peer institutions" out there -- watch out! (That was partly facetious). Go Blue!
