Anyone know about Quantum ProDrive 330 and 425 availability? I remember reading about them in the July 2nd, 1990 issue of Electronic Engineering Times. Supposedly, they're the first drives from Quantum to support both read and write "DisCache"ing...with 12ms read/seek and 14ms write times. They also support SCSI-2. Evaluation units for the ProDrive 330 and 425 were supposed to be $1350 and $1595 respectively, for single-units...what would retail (or better yet, discount mailorder) be on these, roughly? Only problem I could see getting'em to work in my A3000 would be the fact that they're full-height drives.
