from the net might be? (Never mind why I might what to reference some of this

Actually, I for one WOULD be interested in why someone would need to footnote
something from the net. Do you footnote your personal conversations too??

Forgive my ignorance, but is there some place that all the articles are stored forever (so a reader of your paper might read further, which is the purpose of a footnote)?
