hunt@snoopy.Colorado.EDU (Lee Hunt) (10/16/90)
I know this subject has been raised before, but I'd thought I'd raise it again (for nostalgia sake :-). I'm looking for a good 3D equation graphing program with a slick Intuition interface (allowing for zooming and paning of the graph). I ran in to a utility close to this about a year ago, but lost it with a HD crash. It was called amigraph, amiplot or some such and it was *not* by HERMIES (he wrote a program similar to this but it's not what I'm looking for). abcfd20.larc.nasa.gov has a file which demoing the PD program called amigraph which may well fit the bill (but doesn't look like the program I had before). It looks real good, and it even has a usenet address to contact the author (it was in the works a year ago), but I can't mail him at his machine (boily@astrosun.phy.ulaval.ca) as it refuses mail connects (but 'finger'ing him reports that he is alive [and hopefully] well). So, anybody have this program or one that fits my requirements? Can anybody contact Mr. Edouard Boily and ask him? Enquiring minds want to hack!
