[comp.sys.amiga] PD Sites?

I have just been introduced to FTPing, and I have kept hearing about
sites that have Amiga PD downloads on them....  H-h-how do I get there?

I am completely new at this, so could someone tell me (or direct me to
info on) how to do this?
