Has anyone had any problems using SAS C (a.k.a Lattice 5.10) from workbench? Also, has anyone had any problems with compiling a program from within LSE? Even a simple " hello world " type program gurus my A1000. (It is equipped with a mc68010, 2MB ram, Starboard II Scsii). BTW, everything (except LSE) works great from the CLI. I've been very pleased with all other updates from Lattice in terms of improvments in quality of code, documentation, and functionality. This upgrade (from SAS) was suppose to be a significant step in improving the work environment BUT I'm begining to feel that it may have been a waste of money and time. The documentation explaining the changes is sparse and *Not* clear on how to use the new system and unfortunately, the Lattice BB is not available. ( And who wants to pay $2 a min for clarifying setup!) Enough flaming, Any suggestions, help, or comments would be appreciated! Thanks, Matt Vesty

Thanks for all of the replies! The SAS C system crashes if the directory where lc: is assigned is not in teh path setup before loading workbench. (It would've been a lot nicer if they looked for a logical device instead of the wb path!) For some reason this also affected LSE even if it was started form a shell with the correct path.... and the guru was really strange ... (and other excuses....) Thanks, Matt
