Over the last few months, I have been surprised to read in news and personal email some demands for particular developments on the Amiga. As my own programming is of a scientific nature, mostly demands for specific features/programs have been made to me. Some of these have been made in a fairly agressive manner. One (email) was a most offensive attack on me as a ligitimate child (!) and a programmer. I find it extraordinary that anyone who owns a computer thinks they can demand someone else write software for them. I can understand the concept of a letter writing campaign to convince a publisher of a market, but abuse is most likely to be counterproductive. Especially in the case of freely distributable software, where the use of the program is a privalege and certainly not a right. I think some of you guys should tone it down a bit (and think about doing some of your own coding!). Regards Alan
