Hi Everybody, I'm going to be upgrading to an A3000 soon, and it looks like I'm going to have to sell my 1985 A1000 system to raise the bucks. I have (in addition to a the A1000): 1) A LUCAS-based 68030 accelerator card (MMU works, no data cache yet) (68030 and 68881 are both 20MHz parts) 2) 4megs of FRANCES 32 bit ram 3) A Cltd HardDisk controller 4) A 65Meg Seagate ST277N hard disk 5) A real time clock that uses the expansion connector (not any of the ports). 6) A external floppy. The system runs at 18MHz, and the program CPU_Speed reports that it's running about 6 times faster than a stock Amiga. It's reliable, runs all productivity software and most games that I've tried (Falcon, RocketRanger, It Came From The Desert, Targis, Sim City, Wings, and more), and has served me well. I'm selling it because I'm developing a hardware data acquisition system and I need true Zorro II/III slots. First $1000 takes the system. I'd prefer to sell it to someone in the bay area if possible. I'm willing to part it out if the price for the parts is right. If you're interested, send me mail or (better yet) call me at home (408) 243-4273 or at work (408) 996-5179 from 8AM-5PM M-F.
