Does anyone know if Bethesda Softworks has released the 1988 Stats Disk and/or the League Scheduler for Wayne Gretzky Hockey? For those who don't have it -- check it out. It's similar to Gridiron (bird's eye view), but the figures look like hockey players viewd from above, not just circles. Game play is excellent, and it seems to know all the rules (even the 2-line pass violation). When there's a penalty, an animated ref gives the (correct) signal along with pringing the penalty on the screen. I heartily recommend it. ******************************************************************************* * Rich Carreiro "I get on my knees and pray, we don't get fooled again! * * rlcarr@athena.mit.edu -- The Who * *******************************************************************************

To: ALL I have a Fatter Agnus chip in my A2000. One of the things that I disliked most about it was the fact that Wayne Gretzky Hockey would no longer run. That is no surprise, is it? However, Advanced Dungeons & Dragons would not run either, giving me instant guru on startup. Something was wrong. I found that by running a KILLCHIP utility, NOFASTMEM, then Re-Booting, *BOTH* of the above mentioned games run without a hitch. SO, if you have been unable to play WG Hockey or other game since you got a Fatter Agnus, try the above and see if you have luck. Would someone please forward this to comp.sys.amiga.games, as I don't receive that here. It may prove handy to them. -- /// AMIGA: | Steve Palm, Sysop of FidoNet node 1:11/16 /// FOR THE | UUCP: {gatech, ames, rutgers}!ncar!asuvax!stjhmc!myamiga!smp \\\/// CREATIVE | INTERNET: [not yet available] \XX/ MIND |_________________________________________________________
