In one of the many ads that Apple has been taking out lately in the school newspaper, Apple said of the Classic that "it includes everything you need to get started, including a hard disk." Later, I discover that Apple lied through their teethe with this add, and that the Classic DOES NOT include a hard disk. I cannot believe I let myself actually believe anything that Apple says. The Classic is, indeed, an overpriced piece of junk, that will not give Commodore any trouble whatsoever. If Apple did include a hard disk with the $1000 model, or chop its price in half, it would be a better value, but the way it currently is, it is no value at all. I now officially retract everything I said in that last message. I still think Commodore should think seriously about including AmigaOS2.0 with all A500s, but Commodore should not worry at all about the Classic. I still cannot believe how Apple would blatantly LIE in an a that they would put into a school newspaper. Commodore does not advertise as much as Apple, but at least Commodore never blatantly lies in any of their ads! -MB-
