[comp.sys.amiga] Amiga ECS

     A relative novice in the wonderful world of Amigas would like
to know (in the simplest possible terms) what the ECS is in the 
newer models of Amigas?  Also, would it be worthwhile in upgrading
an older Amiga 500 or 2000 to the ECS?
