[comp.sys.amiga] Amiga Display Enhancer Board Question.

BARRETT@owl.ecil.iastate.edu (Marc Barrett) (10/24/90)

   Now that the existance of the Amiga Display Enhancer Board has been
talked about by other people (with one person claiming to have seen a
spec sheet on it), I hope I am not violating my developer's agreement
by asking a question about it.

   My question concerns using this thing with an A500. Would it be
theoretically possible for this thing to work by using one of the hacks
available that were designed to allow the flickerFixer to be used in
an A500? These hacks work by plugging into the Denise socket, with
a cable that goes to a small board that the flickerFixer plugs into;
the whole assembly will apparently fit inside an A500 if you have
nothing else installed. Unfortunately, not all of the signals found
on the A2000's video slot are available from the Denise chip, and I
am wondering whether or not the signals that are available are enough
for the Amiga Display Enhancer Board to work.
