(I tried to e-mail this to the wefax mailing list, but EVERY note bounced; the addresses must be in a format that PSUVM cannot handle...) I'm interested in making a deal with someone to build the hardware interface for WeFax. While I know how to use a soldering iron, I am not as versed in reading schematics, and haven't been able to understand much in the one included with the package. So, if anyone is interested in selling one to me, please contact me. Thanks! :-) Kurt -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- || Kurt Tappe (215) 363-9485 || Amigas, Macs, IBM's, C-64's, NeXTs, || || 184 W. Well, I wasn't quite ready to post this, but since Kurt asked... I expect to have a board set ready this weekend for Dave McM's Wefax software. It's a set because it'll have a parallel port pass-through card with two connectors on it, and because of that will actually work with a 1000, 2000 or 500 (3000 too???). The interface circuit will be on a separate board that can "piggyback" on the pass-through, or can be mounted remotely (reasonably short cable). I will be happy to make the layout available in XCad or LaserJet format; I don't think I have a good way to do IFF of the size required, but I'll take a look. I am also willing to make a _few_ board blanks; if it gets to be too big a deal, maybe we can look for a board vendor to do them. (Well, Dave, now I'm really committed ;-) -- Tom Bruhns tomb%hplsla@hplabs.hp.com
