Hello All, Recently I got a copy of EasyBackup... Don't remember where, probably a fish diskette... (there is a Fred readme.. so that must be it!)... Anyways... I backup'd my harddrive about a week or so... and last night well, so to say the least, the drive started corrupting itself... So I figured I would save what new stuff had accumulated... I would format the drive... and reinstall from my backup a week before with EasyBackup... Everything went fairly well.... Until I ran Oliver Enselings Restore program... What happened was... It started reading from the backup disk... put i think one file on the harddrive... (A directory)... then just froze... So after a few attempts, I figured.. okay, maybe disk #1 has a problem... and being you can tell EasyBackup to start on disk 2... I tried that... well, same thing happened... except it extracted about a dozen files first... only they were in the wrong subdirectory... (it created some path, and restored files into it, that belonged in another..) If anyone can help... please let me know... or if anyone can get ahold of Oliver Enselings (the author).. let him know it did this.. I lost alot of stuff... Hey, I'm only running 1.3 now.. does anyone know where I can get 1.3.2 on the net? or am I gonna have to go bug my dealer for it? (It came with the harddrive... but now is gone...)... I still have the backup... so if anyone knows what I can do let me know.. The author mentions that he used KwickBackup to get his ideas etc... does anyone think that program may just be able to read the backup files? (and which fish disk is it on?...)... Thanks all...
