In reference to The Post about the Battletech Center In icago: Each Cockpit Contains an Amiga 500, Sapphire '020 Accelerator, Commodores Amiga 500 Ethernet Card, a Texas Instruments 34010 Graphics Co-Processor and 3 Other Custom Boards. The amiga controls the LED's, for telling you which button is which weapon, and controls just about everything else. The Amiga display is used for the 9" radar monitor, While the TI34010 Drives the 19" main Display monitor. The only reason the IBM was used is because there was no available server software when the project was begun. If you would like to see more info on The Center, Look at the August 1990 Issue of Amazing Computing. Jim Karczewski
