I am in the process of porting a program for predicting tides, written in basic, to C. To keep the program small and portable on many machines, I would be glad to have an Amigatool (if the same tools exist on IBM-PC and UNIX platforms that would be appreciated) for drawing a two-dimensional function given either a set of (x,y) values or a set of mathematical functions. The mathematical functions are harmonic functions consisting of cosine's. On UNIX there is mathematica, what does exist on the Amiga platform (but less expensive)? To get maximum flexibility postscript output (EPS) would be great. The tide predicting program will eventually become PD available. Who can give me suggestions? Piet Tutelaers rcpt@urc.tue.nl (UUCP)
