Does anyone out there know when the Ethernet cards first started
appearing for the Amiga?

I recall seeing the Ameristar cards for the A1000 during 1987; the ones I saw
were being used by VitaLink for managing their satellite networks, and
featured both a BNC and D-15 AUI connector.

Back in the A1000 days. We made a SOTS ethernet board w/external
power supply. I forget exactly when the first shipment was, but
it wasn't too long after the A1000 appeared on the BYTE cover.
