I have kickstart 1.4 alpha for my 1000. What are the gains of using it over version 1.3? I have noticed and increased speed in drive access, and it allows the system to boot off of df1: (IE put your kickstart in df0: and your BBS boot disk in df1: and if your bbs crashes it would reboot ok if you had it trapped to reboot) It also makes some of the window gadgets look a little different. I know its kinda old (the date on it is 89) but what are its advantages? It is incompatible with some software and it seems it makes some music on some software get off track (the bass line doesnt follow the lead after a few seconds). Byron Guernsey
