I thought it was worth posting a summary of what I have learned in the hope that others will not waste as much time on this as I did. 1. The ARP and the AmigaDos mount commands have some incompatibilities. One is that the default bootpri value in ARP is not to boot. Therefore, if one adds 'Bootpri = 0' to the rad: entry in mountlist, rad: will boot under ARP just like it does by default under AmigaDos 2. There are several other reported problems with the ARP mount command, so one should consider going back to the AmidgaDos mount anyway, if any problems appear. 3. The Amigados 1.3.2 version of mount is to be preferred over the 1.3 version. Thanks to Greg Harp, Timo Rossi, Dan Riley, and Steven Ayscue for help.
