[comp.sys.amiga] Mapple - is it worth $400?

I just got my Mapple math advertisement... it sound fantastic, but
does anyone have it and think it is worth the $395 for the Amiga version.
It can cost upto $2500 for some workstations...

I purchased maple over a year ago for the Amiga 2000. The maple that I
got has been more than worth the money, as I can't always get to the
version on the local workstations, and moreover my connection to the
machine on my desk is always faster than any connection to campus. The
amiga version is a full fledged version of maple, and if you have an
accelerator (or at least a math co-processor) on your machine, you
should have results approximating a workstation. I'd go for it if you
do symbolic math or numerical computing (It can check those results) on
a semi-regular basis.
