Well, I've convinced the demons in my head that I really don't want an MSDOS machine, even if it is compatible with everything at work, and even if I can make it almost look like Unix. So... It occurred to me that one of you all might have an extra Amiga you'd like to sell. I'll pay a resonable price--say 75% of current street prices. Perhaps you'll have this or that goodie to throw in. wanted: amiga 500 SCSI controller. no special scsi things, just a standard scsi controller. Would like trumpcard. already have a 30 meg scsi drive. amiga 500 ram card. Must be expandable to 4 megs. Nothing that requires me to solder or cut wires (or even disassemble the board ;). Something that replaces the a501 would be preferred.
