[I shot the line eater] I have an oppurtunity to buy a nicely priced hard drive of MAC origins. The description of the 40 meg drive from the seller is below: Begin quoted text: It is a Conner drive, 12ms access time, and it has the standard Apple warranty (not-transferrable, it will have to be through me) for 1 year. It has the standard internal connectors... I not sure what they are. It is extremely quiet, and I forgot to mention that it has Hypercard 2.0 on it also. The access time is what someone told me, it can probably be found in the latest review of the IIsi in MacWorld or MacUser...I don't happen to have either issue handy at the moment. By the way, the drive is the same one pictured in those reviews, so the connectors might be visible in the photographs of the inside of the si box. End Quoted text. Is the Conner 40 meg drive any good? It this something I can use in an Amiga SCSI controller, are all SCSI drives treated alike? Or like every other Mac piece, it's something special. This may have been discussed before, but if not, I'll summurize any responces that I get. Deal? Thanks for any help. ==Brett ...ccicpg!cci632!sjfc!bpv9073 OR bpv9073@cci632.com
