[comp.sys.amiga] UPDATED: AquariumData

walrus@wam.umd.edu (Udo K Schuermann) (11/02/90)

Aquarium Users and Fish Fans,

To save bandwidth in the future, I will make this my last public
announcement of updates to the AquariumData-*.lzh file on abcfd20.

I will continue to update the file, but unless I get a significant
number of email requests, I will discontinue public announcement
of updates.

A few days ago I tried updating the -390 file but after about 10
minutes(!), the connection closed and today I found that only 22K
of the file ever made it. This is to announce that the complete
file is now available in the incoming/amiga/ directory as
AquariumData-390.lzh -it does not contain the Aquarium program,
which is on FishDisk#301.

Btw: The -380 file is no longer available, and the -390 file is 250K

Udo,

I just looked on abcfd20, and there is only one file in /incoming/amiga
with "390" in it's name:

ftp> cd /incoming/amiga
250 CWD command successful.
ftp> ls *390*
200 PORT command successful.
150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for /bin/ls (0 bytes).
fishxref-390.zoo
226 Transfer complete.
remote: *390*
18 bytes received in 0.02 seconds (.88 Kbytes/s)

Any clues ?

No, it's not. I just looked.

Suggestions?

Tad informed me that he's cleaning up the /incoming/amiga/ directories
and he's moved the file to /amiga/fish/aquarium-400.lzh

In the future, updates will first go to /incoming/amiga and Tad will be
moving it as his time permits. My future posts will include this tidbit.
