A while ago people were asking how to hide the A-Max II partition on a hard drive. This is for those people who have 2.0 and Commodore's HDToolkit. If you change the File System to Reserved the bothersome A-Max icon will no longer appear under 2.0, but 1.3 will still see it. A-Max II is still able to find the drive. Now for something completely different. Recently I updated my Mac OS to 6.0.5. The installation was made from A-Max II started under 2.0 on my A3000. When I try to start A-Max II from 1.3 it says that the HD is unreadable and needs to be reformatted. All of this happened before I tried changing the File System for the partition to reserved. Anyone have any clue to why this happens? Kind of reminds me of how I would format my hard disk on my 2500 in 68030 mode and lose it when I dropped to 68000 mode. Thanks for any info.
