I just learned about an interesting Macintosh product today called ScuzzyGraph. Get this: It lets a Macintosh that doesn't have room for a video card to output graphics to a second monitor through the SCSI port! This thing is pretty weird, but is a great innovation for the Plus, SE, and portable which can't accept an internal video card. "Ok," you say, "why is he posting this on the Amiga board?" Well, it seems to me that this would be a wonderful way to add a second monitor to the Amiga as I had been asking about in a previous post. Just hook one of these buggers up, create whatever driver needed to be dropped into DEVS:, and then have software output to that device instead of the normal screen. Am I missing something or would this be pretty easy to implement? ScuzzyGraph outputs to a variety of monitors at various resolutions, so it's pretty versatile. You might not even have to create a special version for Amiga, because this thing uses standard SCSI protocol. I'd LOVE to be able to use ProPage 2.0 on a separate monitor while I use my 1080 for telecommunications, or text entry into ProWrite, or just for basic WorkBench...
