[comp.sys.amiga] Question About WB2.0

pat_seguin@aquarium.buffalo.ny.us (Pat Seguin) (11/15/90)

I saw a local Amiga dealer demonstrating Workbench 2.0 on an Amiga 500
system with an A590 hard drive, 3 MB of RAM, and using the 'Zkick' kickfile
loader. I happened to notice that the last two lines of the Workbench
are completely invisible. The last two lines of the Workbench window
are cut off and any window dragged to the bottom of the screen will have
the last two lines chopped off. The same team2.0, ProWrite3.0, and more.
Is this a bug with Zkick or Workbench 2.0? People have told me that
they've never had a problem like this so I figure it's something
with Zkick. Can someone give me an idea?

It has to do with a problem regarding the old Denise chips...

This dealer has an *OLD* beta copy. Once again a demo of why it's
a chore to release things before they are ready - people see things
that are still in development and quickly spread the word about the
things they saw that are "wrong". I haven't seen the described
symptom for months.

Heh heh. That's an easy fix. All that needs to be done is to go
into preferences and adjust the overscan.
