[comp.sys.amiga] CEPPro and option -sticky

Is there anybody, who knows about problems with applying options such as '-sticky'
to CEDPro's activator ED???

Since I bought CEDPro 2.12 a few weeks ago, I tried to use CED with my Newsreader.
This usually does not work as CED and ED always detach themselves from the CLI.

According to the Users Guide this problem can be solved by using
ED with the option '-sticky' (e.g."utilities:ed ram:tempfile -sticky"),
thus telling ED only to return to the CLI when all the file's windows
have been closed.

Nice thing I thought, but it doesn't work!

All CED does is attaching itself from the CLI and trying
to load a second file named "-sticky"...

The same problem occurs when using any other of the documented
options for ED.

Playing around with this I found, that it has something to do with
my shell: starting "ED filename -sticky" from the initial CLI works!
But once loaded ASH (the ARP shell segment) OR Commo's WB1.3 SHELL-SEG OR
a WB2.0 shell into ram, ED refuses to accept options.

Any ideas what the problem might be?
I heard from people using "ED .. -sticky" without problems...

Sorry for my English.
