[comp.sys.amiga] Amiga 500 problems

Help!!

While working on my computer (Amiga 500) it suddenly "powered off/on" about
4 times in a row, then finally booted with the caps-lock blinking about
  once/second.

My mouse would function, but the keys would not .... at all.

If the info is needed, my system is made up of:

                      A500 w/1meg RAM (A501 Expansion)
                      1 External drive, 2002 monitor
                      Modem, and printer.

I neglected to mention before that this happened while I was using the modem
(in the middle of typing in a program actually!! Augh!)

If anyone knows what this would be caused by, pls. let me know.

                                                Thank you
                                                  -Eli
                                                   echarne@orion.cf.uci.edu

I've got a few problems with my Amiga 500 and I am hoping ya can all help me:

1- Upon booting, my amiga tells me 'battery backed up clock not found'
I agree I don't have the best mem-upgrade, but the clock used to be
found and now isn't. Rather upsetting to see 1am at noon :)

2- The stupid button on my A500 internal disk drive has fallen out, and I
can't get it to stay in. Sometimes (As I use it to eject disks, etc),
it jams in there, creating a small pain in the rear. HOW DO I FIX THIS
AND HOW COME COMMODORE CAN'T MAKE A DECENT QUALITY DRIVE? (Never had
 `	/any/ problems with my NON-cbm external)

Please mail any replys:
