I'm about ready to buy an Amiga. Most of you on this newsgroup have convinced me that the Amiga is the best thing since sliced bread! I have several questions: 1. I would like to have PC compability, and I would like to get an A3000 if possible. Does the 3000 support Bridgeboards? 2. What is a good configuration for Bridgeboards? I don't intend to use it heavily, but I will probably use some accounting software on the PC side. 3. If the 3000 does not work, and I end up with a 2000 or 2500, does it make sense to get a 1950 monitor instead of the 1084? 4. What are good printers? I don't need a laser printer, but I may want to do some casual desktop publishing at some point. I've heard of something called an Inkjet. What is that? If anyone is interested in selling any of the above equipment, I would be interested in pursuing this. Paul Bidwell E-mail: p.l.bidwell@att.com Phone: 215-770-3417

Re: Inkjet printer To answer your question #4, The Hewlett-Packard Deskjet, Plus, or 500 is an ideal printer for general use/DTP applications. I use mine with Pagestream (and sometimes Professional Page) and get near-laser quality from it. It's also a LOT cheaper to buy & run than a laser. --Rick Wrigley fhwri@conncoll.bitnet
