You are talking about the MaxiMegs 2 and 2.3 meg RAM boards available
from MAST. These two boards are for the A500 only (fit in A501 slot).
They do not use the 2-meg Agnus (you need 1.3 ROMs and 1-meg Agnus).
I don't know the particulars, but they apparently use some software
trickery to operate (I called and they are done with the hardware, but
not the software). It does cost $329 for 2.3-meg version. Since these
boards were designed before the A3000 was released, they probably did
not know about the 2-meg Agnus. They do not have any board for the
A2000 that gives more Chip RAM. Their 2 meg board makes an A500 have
2.5 megs of Chip RAM (does 2.3-meg board give 2.8 megs of Chip???), which
is probably a lot trickier to accomplish because I think there is only
2-megs of address memory space reserved for Chip RAM in the memory map
(right?).

P.S. M.A.S.T.'s said that their Infinity Machine accellerator card
will be ready in February 1991. Yeah, right.
