[comp.sys.amiga] AddBuffers and 030 data cache

laughlin@fornax.UUCP (Bob Laughlin) (11/27/90)

Is Addbuffers well behaved with a GVP 030 accelerator and the
data cache on? Does Addbuffers still just use chip memory?
If so it should be OK right?---since the data cache is turned off
for CHIP mem. I had been using BlitzDisk v2.0 from the TxED
distribution before I got the accelerator and miss the big floppy
cache and DIRONLY harddisk cache. I stopped using it when I got
the accelerator because of occasional crashes (which I can't pin
on Blitzdisk, but they've stopped since I dropped it from the
startup-sequence). I suspect Blitzdisk since it uses FAST memory.
I've got a non-DMA GVP hardcard.
