[comp.sys.amiga] Capturing the screen

jal@pandora.cs.wayne.edu (Jason Leigh) (11/29/90)

This should be an easy question for somebody out there:

Is there a PD tool that will allow me to capture the work bench screen
to a file?

If there is a program and it is not a PD tool, could someone capture
what they would consider the best representation of the Amiga's
workbench so that it may be included in a textbook I am co-authoring
with a collegue.

Thanks in advance.

There's a program I use to capture any screen to an IFF file; I believe it's
on Fish Disk 55.

Sure, ScreenX by Steve Tibbett, the same guy that writes VirusX. Don't know
where exactly to find it, but it shouldn't be too tough, considering that it's
one of the more established freely distributible programs around.
