DEB110@psuvm.psu.edu (Doug Bischoff) (12/03/90)
First, the Music-X stuff. Finally got the 1.1 upgrade (fixes some very annoying bugs) and I want to know if ANYBODY has managed to create a SYSEX lybrary patch for the KORG M1 or if anybody out there knows someone who has. I've tried everything in my power to talk to the Korg, but apparently it only understands Japanese hexadecimal, I dunno. Second, AMAX-II. I've got a Midi interface plugged into my serial port. Is it possible for me to use it while on the Macintosh side? Anybody ever try this? I've gotta know, because there are some KICK-BUTT notation programs (read: Finale) that I would like to use, but without MIDI they're lame. Thanks for the help, all! Oop! One more thing: (I'll try when I get home, but just for kicks:) Can you format a disk with both an Amiga drive AMAX partition and a Macintosh drive Amax partition? Yes, I mean an 800k floppy. It'd be really handy! /---------------------------------------------------------------------\ | -Doug Bischoff- | *** *** ====--\ | "It's so neat to | | -DEB110 @ PSUVM- | * *** * ==|<>\___ | see an AMIGA say | | -The Black Ring- | *** *** |______\ | "Welcome to | | --- "Wheels" --- | *** O O | Macintosh"" | | Corwyn Blakwolfe | T.R.I. ------------- | ---- AMIGA ---- | \---------------------------------------------------------------------/
