Hello A-MaxII owners! I have drummed together a list of the Macintosh programs that work on my A-MaxII system. (I have the privilege of testing out software at my school which has both Amigas and Macintoshes). I think that a list such as this is very useful for A-MaxII owners who are considering purchasing some Mac software. (Imagine buying a product for mega bucks and finding out that it doesn't work). The limitations to my testing are this: I didn't go into real depth testing each package, if it ran and I found no problems in my short test, then I declared it ok; my school does not have the resources to either add a SCSI hard drive or partition the Amiga one so that I could test these packages out on a hard drive, as a result, I could not test PageMaker nd some other packages. All the packages that follow work from floppies. When the comp.sys.amiga.* break happens, I am willing to maintain a frequently asked question list for A-MaxII. BTW, thanks to those who posted info about inits to bypass pram, I have mouse-scaling, pram-set, and a few others and they work great! Later, -Rich PS, If you haven't got the recent update to A-MaxII which corrects some bugs in the serial device handling, be sure to call ReadySoft at 416-731-4175. If, like me, you sent in your registration card, then they will immediately send an upgrade disk free of charge. (Nice job ReadySoft). -- // Rich | "If there is nothing wrong with me, then maybe there is \X/ Andrews | something wrong with the universe." - B. Crusher STTNG
