A few days ago I posted a query concerning the Spirit Technology IN1000
memory board. Since then I have received SEVERAL responses. Once again
the Amigoids come through.
For those considering upgrading the RAM on your A1000 it looks like the
Spirit IN1000 is a real good way to go. Spirit Technology is advertising
it in Amiga World for $199 w/1MB of RAM or $231 w/1.5MB of RAM.
Every response I got indicated they had been using the board 2+ years and
other that a few minor installation and infant mortality problems the
boards have performed flawlessly. Most of the replies also indicated that
Spirit Technology gave them VERY EXCELLENT user support for any problems
they encountered.
I was going to reply individually to those who answered my query, but the
level of reply was greater than I anticipated, so ...........
