In responce to a recent query on my part concerning character cutting and 
pasting, some kind soul pointed out the existence of a utility known as Snap.
I've got it working for the most part.  However, there does exist one small
problem.  When I use Snap with Handshake 2.12, it always cuts out the first
character of the default prepend string.  For example, I shall now Snap this
paragraph, and do what should be the prepend insert:

So you see, it takes the second character (a space) of the default prepend, but
for some reason, Handshake doesn't like the > symbol.  Anyone know what the 
deal is?  BTW -- I just flipped to workbench and pasted the same paragraph in
to DME, so I know it works correctly with other programs.
