[comp.sys.amiga] CoreWars

Chrispa%RCN.BITNET@cunyvm.cuny.edu (04/25/89)

Does anyone know of any core wars activity on the amiga? as in Core Wars
environments, (Loaders, assemblers, Arenas, etc...)
It's something I'd really like to get into but it's SURE AS HECK
not worth dumping the amiga for a big blue.

Thanks,

Does anyone know of the existence of Core Wars for the Amiga? A freind o
f mine has it for his Mac, but I was hoping to be able to play it on my own
computer. If you know of its existence, please tell me its location so I can
retrieve it.

First of all I wish to thank all those that replied to my query about CoreWars.
From this query I have thus far received two different versions for the Amiga.
If someone can tell me how to place these programs on anonymous FTP, I will
gladly do so so that others of you may have the opportunity to play. I do not
have the UUENCODE program (only UUDECODE) so, unfortunately, I am not able to
send these programs as mail. So, if someone will please tell me how to post
to an anonymous FTP site, I will place these programs there as quickly as
possible.

			Thanks all,

On Info-Amiga (Listserv/Bitnet), there is generic source being given out
for Corewars. Sorry, I don't have the address, but mail:

I-AMIGA@RUTVM1.BITNET if you wantit.

I have so far received two versions of corewars. These versions have been
individually LHARCed and then LHARCed together and placed on anonymous FTP
at abcfd20.larc.nasa.gov in the /incoming/amiga directory. For all those who
wanted CoreWars, there it is. Have at it and enjoy.
