There are many non-amiga users who are reading this (and the IBM, next, and so forth) groups and the people who are crying "down with Amiga" are really slitting commodore's throats. As an example; Apple IIgs users feel they've been stomped, kicked, and weiner whipped by Apple. MANY are considering jumping onto the IBM/Amiga/NeXT platforms. With so many people here saying the NeXT is better...hmmm? Personally, I think the amiga is doing GREAT. I've owned a a500 for 2 years and a a2000 for 1 year. The magazines are growing, software output is fantastic, the tradeshows have innovative things and large audiences, Commodore seems to be doing a fantastic job with its resources, and the power, god, its there! IMHO, our only competition is IBMs, and they're turning into game machines... :-) I'd just hate to see the Amiga go the way of the GS, with its own users slitting its powerlines. -- ____________________________________________________________________________ | | | Parik Rao, Univ. of California Santa Barbara... 6600prao@ucsbuxa.ucsb.edu | |_America Online:AFA Parik_______________________________________GEnie:P.RAO_|
